I have a B.S. from University of Mary Hardin Baylor and a Masters from the University of Texas.

I am married to Randy Hayes. We have two children, Laura and Jason. We have three grandchildren, Isla, Jaden and Ashlyn.

My favorite color is blue.

My favorite food is chocolate.

In my spare time I like to read and play tennis.

My favorite kinds of books are historical and historical fiction.

My favorite restaurant is Olive Garden.

My birthday is July 23rd.
